We went on a one week sailing trip and I am happy to say it was one of the best trips of my life and def the most relaxing. The location was beautiful and we got to see places we would have never known about if we had not sailed with Scic. The staff were also so kind and I felt so safe the whole trip. Captain ergon, chef oor, and shakir and mehmet all made us feel so welcome and relaxed the whole time with nothing to worry about! They were really professional and very adamant on making us feel relaxed!I also have to say that the food was amazing! We had breakfast lunch dinner on board and honestly it was better then any restaurant. We had to have two dinners onshore and honestly we didnt want to leave the boat! I am also a vegetarian and had so many options. Food was def made with love and tasty as well as healthy. The other passengers were also so lovely and I met some amazing people on this trip and they really helped make my experience even better. The trip is perfect whether your a couple like us, single or a family. It really caters to everyone and that was the best part. You can chill on the boat or you can kayak or snorkel or play some music and have a drink. Anything you want and the crew makes sure you feel happy. Thank you to scic sailing, the crew on board, and to the people I met for making it one of my favorite trips. My husband and I are already planning the next sailing trip!

Need I say more? Our fourth time on 'own' Tifil with captain Recep Mazi and his amazing crew. ' We go the extra mile' he says in his welcome address, and they do - from the freshly baked cake at tea time to the never- ending professionalism, combined with good humour and hospitality. We will be back, inch'allah!

A wonderful week with SCIC sailing - beautiful traditional boat (wonderful when the sails are up), excellent service, comfortable cabin and delicious food. Relaxing and invigorating at the same time! Highly recommended.

11 Oct 2018, 11:32We have just returned from a week Scicsailing on Naviga I with 8 girlfriends and in one word its was:ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!A very professional crew, excellent sailors and more than excellent cook. The service level was very high, the crew really made you feel like a VIP. All the drinks included by the way and the high standard food was delicious. The ship is very well maintained. Each cabin has its own bathroom ( shower, toilet). The Turkish coast and sea around Bodrum is unbelievably beautiful and there was enough time for swimming, snorkling, canoeing etc. I definitely recommend sailing with #Scicsailing to explore the waters, islands and shores of Turkey!

I first read about ScicSailing in a magazine article, but it was once I reached out to Loes, the owner, that I knew I had to book a trip. She was so kind, responsive and helpful, and naturally the cruise followed in the same suit. The boat was impressive and impeccably maintained, the captain and crew were welcoming, gracious and professional, the meals were delicious, and the scenery was unparalleled. This was probably the first truly relaxing vacation I've ever had, and it felt like I was discovering Turkey's best kept secret. I'm so glad I found this company and would highly recommend a trip with them!

This holiday was everything we had hoped for and more! From my initial contact with Loues (SCIC Sailing) in 2017 until the day of our return to England in September 2018 it has been the most positive experience. All questions and emails responded to promptly, the recommendations of a hotel were great (Casa Dell Arte in Torba is completely fab.) and then on to the boat itself "The Notus". We were slightly apprehensive about the cramped cabins and basic plumbing but these did not distract from our adventure! We were also worried about not knowing any of the other guests but by the end of the first evening we all became friends. The captain and crew of The Notus were exemplary, our every need was taken care of and there was a genuine concern to ensure any decisions about routes and stops were taken into consideration. And as for the food - the scales say it all! Delicious fresh food served three times a day with drinks included plus Bar BQ's and cocktail evenings - wonderful. My aim for this week was to switch off from a very stressful time in England and try to leave our worries behand and it succeeded! We hope to return again soon.

Highly recommended! I have been with 4 other gulet operators and SCIC is the best for me. Over the years I have spent at least 10 weeks on Naviga and Nemisis. The service from the crew is outstanding. The food superb. The bar is open. The highlight is the crew put the sails up and we sail. The vast majority of gulets do not. These are working boats and if you are looking for an immaculate gulet - which don’t put the sails up - look elsewhere at 3x the price. This is a cost effective holiday. If you are the type that enjoys sitting in a resort for a week and not seeing the beautiful coast of Turkey and swimming in crystal clear water in different places every day - go elsewhere and stay onshore. If it is your first time, do not worry about meeting the other participants on the voyage. Within minutes you will make friends and enjoy their company. The social life on board is great and I have made many friends. More than half of the people on board are repeating the experience. I have met people from all over the world on SCIC. And if you want to do your own thing - you can! Most gulets advertise air-conditioning and SCIC is no exemption. Truth of the matter is - when you are in anchored at night - all gulets have to turn off their generators after 2200 hrs. Hence the attraction for sleeping on the rest area under the sails. Best sleep ever under the stars. You just take your sheets duvet and pillows top deck and make a nest for yourself. I always enjoy waking as the sun first rises and going for a swim before breakfast. A lot of people ask me if it is safe to go to Turkey. I wouldn’t go if it wasn’t. If you have any doubt, check out the crime statistics. The internet is a wonderful thing. Bodrum and most of Turkey is far safer than Toronto or Vancouver - check out the Toronto Police statistics website especially for shootings - over 400 shooting incidents this year alone - or need I say - but will anyway - London or any other major British city. Turkey has been the 4th most popular destination for Brits this past year ( according to British tourism sources - check it out!) I can’t recommend SCIC enough. I look forward all year round to returning every year to sailing on Nemisis or Naviga.

Last early October I spent a lovely week on board the Nemesis with 12 guests (all friends in this case) and 4 crew. We cruised along the mesmerizing Turkish coast, with its many private beaches, coves and bays. It was the perfect combination of relaxation (reading, sunbathing, sleeping) and entertainment (swimming, sailing, land excursions, sharing meals, dancing on the deck and having more fun). The spotless cabins were surprisingly large (I am used to regular berths on board a 41ft sailing boat) and extremely cosy and comfortable. I could even clear my bags and hang my clothes. The clean bathroom offered me sufficient space to put my toiletries and even with 12+4 people on board, I could shower each day without any problems (no shortage of water nor low pressure). The size of the vessel felt comfortable to the number of guests, i.e. plenty of private space and room for lounging......definitely no need to put your towel to reserve your seat 😉 Highlights:- well trained and groomed, polite English (and Turkish) speaking crew- eye for detail and staging- responsiveness to requests of guests- daily freshly cooked meals and beverages where of the highest standards (price/quality wise)- cooking class!!- sound system (if you want to play your own music)- everything was actually functioning (no over-promises)I can 100% recommend SCIC sailing for an exclusive quality experience along the lush and sultry Aegean coast!!!

I am proud to be the oldest guest of ScicSailing ?. I sailed in 1997 for the first time with my late husband. After I came alone every year, but never a dull moment. When I took a friend on the painting sailing cruise, she became ‘addicted’ as well and since then we travel together. I just love to be on the yacht. Enjoying the company, I always meet nice, funny, crazy people, and the scenery. Every day in a different place, time for a swim, enjoy eating my fruit on the aft deck, reading my book, although I never managed to finish one. The crew is so attentive, could not be better. As long as I will be able to walk around the ship I will go sailing’.

Are you going to Turkey again this summer Adam ? Of course, Yes !! I am addicted to holidays with SCIC Sailing. They tick every box for my idea of the perfect holiday. I like warm to hot sunshine, guaranteed. I like being away from urban noise, dust and business. I love the sea , the openness, the breezes , swimming in water of a near perfect temperature and clarity. I also relish the sublime unconscious delight of warm air blowing a cool breeze across your face as it inflates the sails and urges the sailing boat across the sea.The first day on the boat is still, after many a holiday, one of the most exciting days. When all the guests are boarded the boat sails off to yonder seas. Well, that’s what it seems like. In fact you are quickly furnished with cold refreshing drinks and invited to relax in the deep sumptuous cushions on the aft deck and find out who all these strangers are you will be sharing the boat with. Having discovered everyone’s names and promptly forgotten half of them post a few more chilly drinks, the boat is nestling into a deserted inlet. What now ? As a complete water nurd I’m already to jump into the crystal clear waters in the most ungainly manner as I can muster ! Splosh ! Lovely lovely cool deep water. Ohhh its good !To be continued !!
